Norwegian songstress Aurora is making her way to Bristol’s O2 Academy in 2022 as part of her UK tour.

The dark pop and rock musician is touring a number of the UK’s biggest cities in support of the release of her fourth major album ‘The Gods We Can Touch’.

Aurora will play one show at Bristol’s O2 Academy entertainment venue - on April 5 2022.

Aurora begins her UK tour tonight (March 29) when she visits Glasgow’s SWG3 venue before visiting a number of the biggest cities across the UK such as London and Leeds. This is the full list of Aurora’s UK dates:

How do I get tickets to the Bristol concert?

Tickets for Aurora’s live concert at Bristol’s O2 Academy venue are on sale now.

There are a limited number of tickets available on resale for the 2,500 capacity show, so be quick if you are interested in attending.

Resale sites such as Viagogo currently have a number of general admission tickets available for sale, with prices of around £125.

What is the setlist?

As the tour is in support of her fourth album ‘The Gods We Can Touch’ which was released in January, it is likely that she will play a number of its tracks during her Bristol show.

‘Giving In To The Love’, ‘Everything Matters’ and ‘This Could Be A Dream’ are three well-received tunes from the new album.

Who is Aurora and what is she known for?

Aurora, full name Aurora Aksnes, is a self-taught Norwegian electro-pop artist that is known for dark and melancholic music.

Getting into music very young and after releasing a number of small tracks that she wrote in her bedroom, Aurora was signed to Decca Records in the early 2010s.

Aurora’s single ‘Runaway’ which is immensely popular was written when she was 12-years-old in 2015; and her debut EP ‘Running With The Wolves’ came out later that year.

The now 19-year-old’s second EP ‘Infections of a Different Kind’ was released in 2018 and her first studio album ‘A Different Kind of Human’ in 2019.

She was featured in the soundtrack of hit Disney movie Frozen II, providing the vocals for ‘Into The Unknown’ which she performed at The Oscars in 2020.

Now after two more EP releases - ‘For The Humans Who Take Long Walks In The Forest’ and ‘Music For The Fellow Witches Out There’ - Aurora released her fourth album ‘The Gods We Can Touch’ in January 2021.
