Insider Media have revealed the richest people in the latest South West Rich List.
We used the data to compile the 14 richest individuals in the region.
The list includes self-made entrepreneurs, tech entrepreneurs and the richest women in the South West.

1. Sir James Dyson
2023: £23bn | 2024: £18.8bn. Sir James Dyson once again tops the list, with an estimated fortune of £18.8bn, although it is down from £23bn in 2023. Britain's best-known investor has shed 1,000 UK jobs after a "challenging" year beset by inflation and product shortages. Dyson still managed to grow profits to £1.4bn on sales of £7.1bn in 2023, but experts no longer believe his tech empire is worth what it was. | Getty

2. Chris and Sarah Dawson
2023: £2.05bn | 2024: £2.3bn - Chris Dawson wants to have as many as 300 Wilko stores within the next five years. The former Plymouth market trader bought the retailer's brand out of administration last year and has been busy reviving the much-loved high street name. 3. Peter Hargreaves
2023: £1.752bn | 2024: £2.119bn - Hargreaves is the biggest winner from the imminent £5.4bn sale of Hargreaves Lansdown. The deal values the Lancashire born entrepreneur's 19.8 per cent stake in the company at £1069.2m - £343.3m more than what it was worth on the stock market a year ago. | Twitter

4. Stephen Fitzpatrick
2023: £500m | 2024: £1.95bn. Transport and energy. Fitzpatrick's green energy giant OVO posted profits of almost £1.1bn in 2023. The Bristol-based group's strong performance followed a £1.7bn loss in the previous year. Ulster-born Fitzpatrick founded the business 15 years ago and has quickly attracted more than four million customers. He also has a 68 per cent holding in his flying taxi venture Vertical Aerospace. | Google
