It’s the end of an era as a legendary Bristol club night gears up for its final event in 20 years - with tickets sold out as party-goers flock to grab one last piece of the action.

Heartbreak ensued when Ramshackle announced its reign as a staple on Bristol’s nightscene was coming to a close earlier this year.

The club night, hosted by Bristol 02 Academy, had been running every Friday since 2002 before organisers posted on social media that it was ‘time to move on’.

The final Ramshackle will take place on Friday, January 28 but the event’s popularity was made clear when tickets sold out within weeks of going on sale.

While a few tickets are still available to buy from resellers, they seem to be going for double the original price.

Commenting on Facebook, Kiri Tredgett said she was ‘so sad’ to see Ramshackle bow out for the city, and for a special reason:” So many great memories! I met my now husband at ramshackle 11 years ago!! Now pregnant with our first baby.”

DJ Patrick Nezemi said: “I can’t believe it. Thanks for giving me a vital platform as a DJ and a promoter every Friday for years. I’ll miss you so much Rams. Will raise a homemade Yo-Yo to you on Friday 28th.”
