Mother’s Day is coming up fast - and to help families in Bristol, three of the city’s business improvement districts have teamed up to launch a ‘mums love local’ campaign, highlighting the shops where gifts can be found.
Bristol City Centre BID, Redcliffe & Temple BID and Broadmead BID launched the Love Bristol Gift Card last year, which users can spend in more than 150 businesses. And now they are urging people to either use the card to buy Mother’s Day gifts, or provide the card as a present.
Vivienne Kennedy, head of Broadmead BID, adds: “We’re proud to showcase Bristol through the Love Bristol Gift Card this Mother’s Day. It has never been more important to shop local and show your support for our wonderful Bristol businesses.”
Below, the BID groups have highlighted just some of the places to spend the card locally this Mother’s Day. Pictures were taken by Julian Preece Photography.
