We asked locals what they think of this year’s Bath Christmas Market.

The market was crowned one of the best Christmas markets in the UK by Which?

The study spotlighted the eight best markets in the UK based on the cities that were rated highest in the best UK cities survey of more than 4,000 visitors.

Which? readers voted Bath their favourite medium-sized city, and it has one of the UK’s biggest and most established Christmas markets.

We talked with locals at Bath Christmas Market to see if they agreed with the verdict.

Charlie commented her mother comes down from Suffolk especially for Bath Christmas Market.

She added: “We’ve been to the Bristol one and I think Bath is much bigger and much better than the Bristol one and it’s bigger than the Exeter one as well.”

Simon, who lives in Bath, said: “I live here and it annoys a lot of people but I really like it. I think it’s lovely every year.

“I’ve been to Germany and I’ve been to Switzerland and those are rubbish compared to Bath.
