8 amazing photos of the giant new dinosaur artwork at Bristol’s Cabot Circus 🦖

A Bristol artist has celebrated 20 years of his Bristol Dinosaur with the unveiling of a new version in the city centre.

Andy Council’s 60 sq m artwork has been unveiled at Cabot Circus at the entrance of the former Showcase cinema, which is becoming an Odeon.

The T Rex-inspired creation captures more than 30 of Bristol’s most iconic landmarks, from the Clifton Suspension Bridge to Dean Lane Skatepark.

It also includes some unexpected locations such as Turbo Island and Asda in Bedminster.

Andy said: “The Bristol Dinosaur has always been a reflection of the city’s growth and transformation.

“With each iteration, the landmarks morph, disappear or evolve, mirroring Bristol’s changing identity.

“The newest version is really cool and it’s great to see it in such a prominent place like Cabot Circus.”
