A South Gloucestershire restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Gloucestershire restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Hawkes House, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at St Mary Street, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire was given the score after assessment on July 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Gloucestershire's 319 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 248 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
