A South Gloucestershire restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Akash Restaurant, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 522 Filton Avenue, Horfield, South Gloucestershire was given the score after assessment on September 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Gloucestershire's 318 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 254 (80%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
