New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of South Gloucestershire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:

• Rated 5: Bristol Community Cafes at Kingswood Community Centre, The Arches, High Street, Kingswood; rated on September 6

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Plough Inn at Plough Inn, 68 Wotton Road, Charfield, South Gloucestershire; rated on September 15

• Rated 5: Patchway Labour Club at Patchway Labour Club & Institu, 339 Coniston Road, Patchway, South Gloucestershire; rated on April 2
