Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to seven South Gloucestershire establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of South Gloucestershire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Pizza Hut (UK) Ltd at Aspects Leisure, Leisure Road, Kingswood, Bristol; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Wild Kitchen at Block S, Frenchay Campus, Coldharbour Lane, Stoke Gifford; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Ells Kitchen Catering at Folly End Farm, The Folly, Cold Ashton, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 30

Takeaways

And four ratings have been handed to takeaways:

• Rated 5: Chicken Bbq Fish Bar at 33 Broad Street, Staple Hill, Bristol, South Gloucestershire; rated on November 9

• Rated 5: Pizza Gogo at 5 Westons Way, Kingswood, South Gloucestershire; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Chopstix at Ff4, The Mall Upper Level, Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre, Patchway; rated on November 7

• Rated 5: Winterbourne Grill at 70 Bradley Avenue, Winterbourne, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 31
