New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of South Gloucestershire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Uppercrust/Stop Gap at Bristol Parkway Station, North Road, Stoke Gifford, Bristol; rated on January 30

• Rated 5: Cafe EJ's at Selco Builders Merchants, Taurus Road, Little Stoke, South Gloucestershire; rated on January 29

• Rated 5: Coniston Cafe at Coniston Community Centre, The Parade, Coniston Road, Patchway; rated on January 26
