Food hygiene ratings given to nine South Gloucestershire establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of South Gloucestershire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Shirleys Cafe at Station Road, Severn Beach, Bristol, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 18

• Rated 5: Chandos Deli at 510 The Mall Upper Level, Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre, Patchway, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 17

• Rated 5: Aramark At Filton College at Filton College, New Road, Stoke Gifford, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 16

• Rated 5: Shadin at 70 Broad Street, Staple Hill, Bristol, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 16

• Rated 5: Yosc Facilities Management Community Interest Company at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, Brimsham Green School, Broad Lane, Yate; rated on October 16

• Rated 5: Aspens Services Ltd At Wallscourt Farm Academy at Wallscourt Farm Academy, Long Down Avenue, Stoke Gifford, South Gloucestershire; rated on October 13
