Drivers in and around North Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around North Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:

M5, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 - 22 lane closure for drainage works.

M5, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 22 - 21 lane closures for drainage works.

M5, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 19 lane closure in both directions for survey works (Western Power).

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
