Road closures: six for North Somerset drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around North Somerset will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Hide AdBut motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm January 25 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip road closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via M5, junction 22 and back.

Hide AdAnd a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm January 29 to 6am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to 20, lane closure for carriageway repairs.
• M5, from 9pm February 2 to 6am February 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to 20, lane closure for carriageway repairs.

Hide Ad• M5, from 10pm February 2 to 6am February 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to junction 20 lane closure for drainage.
• M5, from 8pm February 6 to 6am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to 20, lane closure for carriageway repairs.
• M5, from 8pm February 12 to 6am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 to 20, lane closure for carriageway repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
