Road closures: four for North Somerset drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around North Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9pm July 17 to 6am July 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 exit slip, lane closure for carriageway repairs.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm July 24 to 6am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 22 to 21 lane closures for road markings.

Hide Ad• M5, from 10pm July 31 to 6am August 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via, junction 22 and back.
• M5, from 10.30pm August 5 to 8am August 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 entry slip road closure for electrical works, diversion to junction 20 and return.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
