And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:

M5, from 8pm March 14 to 6am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 lane closures for road markings.

M5, from 10pm March 15 to 6am March 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 lane closures for structure inspection.

M5, from 10pm March 18 to 6am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 19 to 20 southbound, lane closure for carriageway repairs.

M5, from 10pm March 18 to 6am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 20 to 19 northbound, lane closure for carriageway repairs.

M5, from 10pm March 23 to 6am March 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5, junction 20 lane closure in both directions for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
