And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start this week:

M5, from 10pm March 28 to 6am March 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 lane closures for carriageway repairs.

M5, from 8pm March 29 to 6am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 22 - 21 lane closures for drainage works.

M5, from 9pm March 29 to 6am March 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to 20 - lane closures for safety barrier repairs.

M5, from 8pm March 30 to 6am March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 lane closures for drainage works.

M5, from 10pm March 30 to 6am March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 19 to 20 southbound, lane closure for carriageway repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
