North Somerset road closures: two for motorists to avoid this week

North Somerset's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start this week:

• M5, from 8pm November 21 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 19 to junction 20 lane closures for barrier repair.

• M5, from 10pm November 23 to 6am November 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to junction 18 lane closures for structural maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
