North Somerset road closures: four for motorists to avoid this week
North Somerset's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:
• M5, from 9pm August 15 to 6am August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 20 to junction 21 Lane closures for Structural maintenance, diversion for, junction 20 southbound, entry Slip and junction 20 northbound, exit Slip - M5 northbound to junction 19 and return, diversion for, junction 20 southbound, exit Slip - M5 southbound to junction 21 and return.
• M5, from 9pm August 18 to 6am August 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 22 to 21 lane closure for barrier works.
• M5, from 10pm August 22 to 5am August 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to junction 20 - Lane closure for Structure maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
