North Somerset road closures: four for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
North Somerset's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm September 27 to 6am September 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to junction 19 - lane closure for central reservation works.
• M5, from 9pm October 2 to 6am October 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 entry slip road closed for carriageway repairs, diversion via M5 northbound, exit, junction 20 to turn and return southbound.
• M5, from 10pm October 2 to 6am October 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 entry slip closed for surveys. Diversion via, junction 20 and back.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
