North Somerset's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that eight closures are due to start this week:

M5, from 8am to 6pm on May 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 19 to 20 southbound, hard shoulder closure for survey works.

M5, from 8am to 6pm on May 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 19 to 20 southbound, hard shoulder closure for survey works.

M5, from 8am to 5.30pm on June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19 hard shoulder closure for survey.

M5, from 9pm June 6 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 21 lane closure for survey works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
