New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Winscombe Kebab & Pizza House, at 7 Woodborough Road, Winscombe, Somerset was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 13.

And Cherry Blossom, at 21-23 Weston Road, Long Ashton, Bristol North Somerset was given a score of one on June 13.

It means that of North Somerset's 139 takeaways with ratings, 80 (58%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
