New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Sultans Kebab, at 6 Alexandra Parade, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 17.

And Smart Fish Bar, at 10 Old Street, Clevedon was given a score of one on March 17.

It means that of North Somerset's 127 takeaways with ratings, 65 (51%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
