New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Loves Cafe, at 9 West Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 15.

And Hedgers Kitchen, at Hedgers Hide, Row Of Ashes Lane, Redhill, Bristol was given a score of three on December 15.

It means that of North Somerset's 284 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 201 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
