New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Witcher's Cauldron, at Tudor Mall, 116 High Street, Weston-Super-Mare was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 9.

And Carriages, at Avon Plants, 100 Clevedon Road, Tickenham, Clevedon was given a score of one on June 9.

It means that of North Somerset's 271 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 191 (70%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
