Road closures: two for Bath and North East Somerset drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.

And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:

• A36, from 10am to 3pm on October 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton traffic lights in place for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
