Road closures: three for Bath and North East Somerset drivers this week
Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A4, from 10pm May 8 to 6am May 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A46 both directions Cold Ashton Roundabout to London Road Roundabout carriageway closed for maintenance, diversion A420, A350, A4.

Hide Ad• A46, from 8am May 10 to 4pm May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions M4, junction 18 to Tadwick Verge works for horticulture.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
