Road closures: six for Bath and North East Somerset drivers this week

Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 3.01pm February 18 to 6am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Limpley Stoke two-way traffic signals for Geotechnical works.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

A46, from 9am to 3pm on March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 northbound, lane closure for signs works.

A36, from 9am March 2 to 3pm March 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Hinton Charterhouse two-Way signals for signs - Erection.

A46, from 8pm March 2 to 6am March 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Marshfield Farm (north of Cold Ashton) - two-Way signals for barrier/Fence Safety Repairs.

A4, from 9pm March 3 to 6am March 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 southbound, London road carriageway closed between the exit and entry slip roads for drainage, diversion via the exit and entry slip roads.

A4, from 10pm March 4 to 6am March 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 London Road, junction - westbound, carriageway closed between the slips for drainage works. Diversion via exit and entry slips.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
