Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A4, from 9.30pm November 27 to 6am November 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A4 eastbound, London Road roundabout to Bathampton roundabout - carriageway closure for drainage works, diversion via London Road W, High Street, London Road E.

A4, from 9.30pm November 28 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 eastbound, London Road roundabout entry slip road to closed for drainage works, diversion via A46 northbound to turn at Cold Ashton and return.

A4, from 8pm November 30 to 6am December 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 westbound, Bathampton lane closure for surveys.

A4, from 10pm December 5 to 6am December 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 both directions Cold Ashton roundabout to London Road roundabout carriageway closure for drainage, diversion for southbound, via A420, A350, A4. For northbound, follow the same in reverse.

A36, from 7.30am December 11 to 4.30pm December 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington multi way signals for drainage.

A36, from 9pm December 11 to 4am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 both directions Limpley Stoke to Limpley Stoke - multiway signals for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
