Road closures: five for Bath and North East Somerset drivers over the next fortnight
Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.
And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A36, from 10am to 2pm on August 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton traffic signals for drainage works.

Hide Ad• A36, from 10am to 3pm on August 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Hinton Charterhouse traffic signals for manhole repair.
• A46, from 9pm August 14 to 5am August 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 southbound, London Road exit slip road - lane closure for electrical works.
• A36, from 10am to 3pm on August 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Hinton Charterhouse traffic lights for drainage works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
