New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bath and North East Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ella's Cafe, at 8 High Street, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Bath And North East Somerset was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 11.

And Essence Cafe, at Essence Café, 5 - 6 Holly Court, High Street, Midsomer Norton was given a score of three on May 11.

It means that of Bath and North East Somerset's 361 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 212 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
