Food hygiene ratings handed to two Bath and North East Somerset restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bath and North East Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Caffe Nero, at Cafe Nero, 11 Old Bond Street, City Centre, Bath was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 28.

And The Italian Cafe, at 84 Lower Bristol Road, Westmoreland, Bath, Bath And North East Somerset was given a score of one on July 28.

It means that of Bath and North East Somerset's 365 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 227 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
