Bath and North East Somerset's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 9.30am January 2 to 3.30pm February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington 24/7 multi way signals for drainage.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A4, from 10pm February 1 to 6am February 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 eastbound, London Road entry slip road closed for drainage works, diversion via A46 northbound to Cold Ashton, to turn and return southbound.
