Bath and North East Somerset's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.

And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:

A4, from 10pm May 8 to 6am May 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A46 both directions Cold Ashton Roundabout to London Road Roundabout carriageway closed for maintenance, diversion A420, A350, A4.

A46, from 8am May 10 to 4pm May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions M4, junction 18 to Tadwick Verge works for horticulture.

A36, from 8pm May 16 to 4am May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 both directions, junction with A366 to junction Branch Road. 2-way signals for carriageway repairs.

A4, from 9am May 18 to 4pm May 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 eastbound, London Road Rbt to Box Rbt lane closure for horticulture.

A4, from 10pm May 22 to 6am May 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A4 eastbound, London Road to Box Rbt carriageway closure for central reservation, diversion, return to Cold Ashton A420, east to Chippenham, A350 South to A4.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
