The world-famous Hay Festival is hosting its first event in Bristol in March, featuring a stellar line-up of artists and academics.

World-famous Hay Festival will be hosting its first-ever Bristol event next month at Bristol Beacon.

Hay Festival Hours: Bristol will be taking place on March 27 from 7.30pm and will feature a “night of big ideas, performances, provocations and new thinking with a surprise line-up of emerging and established artists.”

The event will be hosted by Bristol-based historian, author, presenter and BAFTA winning filmmaker David Olusoga.

Academic, Senior Research Scholar and Professor of History at Princeton, Fara Dabhoiwala will explore the meaning of free speech, and slam poet Vanessa Kisuule will preview her new book on musicians and the cost of fame, Neverland.
