Cabot Circus' Escape Hunt's new "Vampire Hunters: A City Hunt Game" tasks guests with the quest to dispose of the vampires "roaming" around Bristol for the "Season of Blood" before it's too late.
The outdoor escape hunt is targeted at teams of two to six players and takes 90 minutes to complete.

There are also both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for sale at the in-house bar, and an opportunity to safely store away any valuables you don't want to carry on the hunt.
We were briefed on our mission by the supervisor, who put up a good act to make the experience more immersive.
They showed us a beautifully animated shadow puppet clip which gave context to the quest, and gave us the "Shadow Hunters" suitcase with the props we would need and an iPad before we were sent off on our adventure.

The puzzles offered a mixed range of difficulties from cracking codes based on figures around Bristol to observing the smallest details on buildings and connecting them to props in the suitcase.
The puzzles were overall very enjoyable and offered a good sense of satisfaction when you could connect the dots.

We lost track of our time and unfortunately were unable to complete all the puzzles in time as we were a couple of streets away from being back at HQ (Escape Hunt).
The members of staff were kind enough to allow us to do the final puzzle to conclude our quest: breaking the code and finding the hidden word.
Another point to note: the weather is very important for this experience.

Nevertheless, it didn't stop us from having a blast and feeling a good level of challenge from the puzzles. Overall, it was a very fun experience, the staff were very friendly and we got to see Bristol in a whole new light.
