5. Swineford - 26 minutes away
Located next to the popular village of Bitton, this hamlet often doesn’t get talked about but is well worth a visit. Firstly, you have The Swan pub which lines the Bath Road. Nestled between Pensford and Chew Magna, Stanton Drew is worth a visit. Off the main B3130 road, the village offers a very good pub, The Druids Arms, and a stone circle attraction it is most famous for. 7. Old Sodbury - 23 minutes away
Plenty of history here with the name of the village recorded in Anglo-Saxon as ‘Soppa’s Fort’ - the impressive fort can be viewed on a circular walk from the village.
