Bristol is experiencing some amazing summer weather this week with temperatures reaching almost 30°C.

With the ongoing heatwave, pools are a good option to find some relieve from the heat.

Henbury Leisure Centre

Floats and fun toys may be available during the family swimming sessions at Henbury Leisure Centre's pool. There are sessions every day. Go here to check availability. Swimming lanes can also be booked daily and there are also public swimming sessions. It costs £6.10 per adult, £3.30 for junior, £4.50 for senior and concession, and free for those under 3. There is also a family swimming holiday special on Mondays from 1pm to 1.55pm and Fridays from 1.30pm to 2.25 pm, which costs £2 for everyone (except those under 3 who go free). Filton's sports and leisure centre has a 25m main pool and a 12m learning pool. It costs £6 per person for non-members to use the pools for general swimming and can be booked here. Bristol South Pool has a 30m pool with a 1.2m shallow end and a 2.5m deep end. Floats and fun toys may be available during the family swimming sessions from Friday to Tuesday.
