Every September, thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate the UK’s fantastic history and culture.
The event offers opportunities to see hidden places and try out new experiences for free.
We have rounded up the events taking place in around around Bristol this week (September 12 to 15).

1. Chapels, lodges and crypts at Arnos Vale Cemetery
From 10am to 4pm on September 12, take a peak in the beautiful chapels, check out the exhibition in the crypt and visit the exhibition in the Spielman basement and lodge. West Lodge, Bath Road, Arnos Vale, Bristol, Gloucestershire, BS4 3EW. | BristolWorld

2. The John Wesley's New Room

3. Bristol’s Central Library
Tours of the library will be held on September 14 at 10.30 and 2.30pm, where guests will be able to learn more about its architect, Charles Holden. Visitors will also hear about the history of Bristol Central Library both past and present and have the opportunity to take a peak behind the scenes. On Sunday, September 16 from 2pm to 4pm, a display of books will available from Bristol Libraries Special Collections depicting Bristol and its surroundings from years gone by. 4. Circomedia, St Paul's Church
Come along on September 14 from 10am to 4pm and try out a range of circus skills like aerial hoop, juggling and tightwire, enjoy group African drumming workshops and take guided tours of the iconic Bristol city centre venue, St Paul's Church.
