International Women’s Day 2022 Bristol: IWD events near me celebrating women’s achievements and equality

Tuesday, 8 March is the date that the world celebrates International Women’s Day.

A day devoted to creating awareness about the importance of women, the effect they have on society, and supporting them in the fight for equality.

Every year International Women’s Day has a theme, and for 2022 it is #BreakTheBias which will help bring attention to the deliberate or unconscious biases that make it difficult for women to move forward.

Bristol Women’s Voice

Commencing on the weekend before International Women’s Day (Saturday, 5 March), Bristol Women’s Voice isgoing all-out to #BreakTheBias in 2022.

Hosting more than 25 events from City Hall, the organisation has something for everyone - ranging from crafting sessions to support groups, and even short films.

This is the perfect event for budding entrepreneurs and business owners that want support on International Women’s Day.

The Doyle Collection’s International Women’s Day Headshot Initiative

To celebrate International Women’s Day, The Doyle Collection are once again hosting an initiative to support female entrepreneurs.

Arrive at their premises in Bristol on March 8 between 8:30 am to 5:20 pm to have your professional headshots taken.

Lady Of The House Cultural Exhibition
