I laughed so much at Faulty Towers The Dining Experience in Bristol, I almost choked on my food
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Even though the programme only aired for 12 episodes in the 70s, it has had a huge impact on British culture.
This was evident by the packed crowd for Faulty Towers The Dining Experience in Bristol on Friday night (February 28).

The long-running theatre show, running in Bristol until Sunday, March 2, includes a three-course meal alongside actors playing Fawlty Towers’ iconic characters Basil, Sybil and Manuel.
The show is full of laugh-out-loud moments from beginning to end, with 70 per cent of it improvised.
In fact, it was so funny, I almost choked on my food - which was delicious, by the way.

It included tomato soup for starters, roasted chicken supreme for the main, and chocolate and clementine torte for dessert - all of which were equally tasty.

Without giving too much away, it includes scenes such as Manuel playfully throwing the garnish for the soup at people!
But the guests do not mind at all, with everyone willing to interact with the mayhem and have a good belly laugh. Many classic moments from the series are recreated.
I was sitting next to some Fawlty Towers superfans, who spent the evening quoting the show to each other and just having a good time.

And after watching it, I can vouch that it definitely is worth checking out the Faulty Towers experience if you get the chance.
