2. Walk during daylight hours. For pets that need walking, avoid walking them during fireworks.
3. Create sound as a distraction. This could be turning on the tv, listening to the radio or playing music. It will help to muffle the sound of the fireworks.
4. Distraction. For many pets distraction is a good way for them to reduce fireworks anxiety. This could be through playing a game with them, giving them a toy or chew to focus on.
