Taking place on the 31st of March from 3pm until late, it's the first of this season's La Sociale events at Toto's purveying the finest soulful house music brought to you by resident blenders Situation Si Paul Upton (Portugal) and Paul Jenks. Entry is free and can be booked here.

What Would Dolly Do? Country Club Night at The Fleece

Taking place on the 31st of March from 11pm to 4am, it's a night filled with the biggest Country anthems and Nashville classics at The Fleece. Tickets cost £7 (with booking fees) and can be bought here.

EGGciting Easter at Brewers Fayre

Brewers Fayre Gordano Gate will be teaming up with Cadbury to host an egg-citing hunt for the little ones in the family filled with clues from the Easter Bunny and yummy treats along the trail from March 29 to 31. There is also a fantastic indoor soft play area, fun-filled activities and tasty food for the whole family to enjoy.

Easter Bowling at Roxy Lanes

From March 29 to April 14, Roxy Lanes will be offering kids £5 bowling before 5pm alongside the brand-new 'Mini Ballers' menu, where kids can choose a main, side and soft drink for just £7.95.

Bristol Vegan Fayre at St Jude's

The Iconic Bristol Vegan Fayre returns to the City once more with a new one-day show at Document on March 30th 2024 featuring 80 stalls, a live music stage, a full line-up of bands, a DJ booth, talks and panels room, comedy hours, workshops and activism, licensed bar, kids area, a vegan community vibe and some truly fabulous vegan street food caterers ensuring a top day out for visitors and traders alike. Blooming Bunny Hop Market at St George Community Centre

Taking place on the 24th March from 1pm to 4pm. There will be plants and gardening gear, local artisans and tasty treats, a bunny hop trail, face paint and Easter crafts.

Easter Chocolate Eggs Special at Lawrence Weston Community Farm

Indulge in an Easter chocolate egg-making workshop at Lawrence Weston Community Farm on the 16th of March from 1pm to 3pm. Learn about chocolate's origins and history, taste different types of chocolates, watch a chocolate tempering demo, paint eggs using coloured cacao butter and craft your own exquisite chocolate eggs. Tickets cost £30 per adult, £40 for a family ticket (one adult and a 6+-year-old), £12 for an additional child (6+-year-old) and free for an additional child under 6 years old and can be booked here.

Zion's Spring Craft Fair and Easter Workshop

A fun-filled day of crafts and Easter festivities on the 23rd of March. There will be lots of wonderful stall holders, a drop-in Easter Craft workshop running between 11am and 1pm (Donation on the day) and a free Easter Hunt in the garden.

The Wurzels Easter Sunday Show at The Fleece

The Wurzels have paved the way for Scrumpy n’ Western - a genre packed full of double entendre, mainstream parody and a comical folk style. They will be performing at The Fleece on the 31st of March from 7pm to 10.30pm. Tickets cost £28 with booking fees and can be booked here.

Guided Walk at Westonbirt Arboretum

Gruffalo Party Trail at Westonbirt Arboretum

To celebrate The Gruffalo's 25th birthday, from February 10, Westonbirt Arboretum will be running a new interactive family trail featuring all sorts of party-themed activities and games, along with fun facts to teach you about life in the forest for the Gruffalo and other creatures. Activity packs with a kraft bag to colour in, party headband to wear, party trail activity leaflet, stickers, pencil and crayon and keepsake sew-on Gruffalo Party patch will be for sale at the Westonbirt shop for £4.

City Dock Tours with Bristol Packet Boat Trips

Indulge in a boat trip and discover the fascinating history and contemporary culture of Bristol’s Floating Harbour on this classic 45-minute tour running every weekend (weather and staff permitting). Bing's Nature Explorers at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre

Join Bing and Flop and all about wetland nature and wildlife from March 23 to June 2. There will be activity trails, interactive storytelling every day from March 23rd to April 14 and weekends until June 2 at 12.45pm, Character appearances (10am to 10.30am, 12pm to 12.30pm, 2.30pm to 3pm) and Mini shows (11am to 11.20am, 1.30pm to 1.50pm and 3.30pm to 3.50pm) from March 23 to April 14, and a range of Bing gifts and toys. Easter Activities at Mendip Activity Centre

Take part in family-fun activities with an Easter twist from March 28 to April 14 at Mendip Hills. Activities include Archery, Axe Throwing, Air Rifle, Try Caving, Tobogganing and Frisbee Golf sessions with opportunities to win mini eggs and Easter eggs. The Giants' Easter Hunt at Clifton Observatory

Help the giants find their lost Easter eggs through the Clifton Observatory attractions from March 28 to April 14. Tickets cost £5 per adult and £3.50 per child ages 4 to 14 and can be bought here. They include full access to the Camera Obscura, Museum, and Giant’s Cave.

Easter Sculpture Festival at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden

Immerse yourself in the world of art and nature with the Easter Sculpture Festival at Bristol Botanic Gardens from March 29 to April 1. The aim of the festival is to showcase the harmony between human creativity and the natural world with unique hand-crafted sculptures, interactive workshops and family-friendly activities. Tickets cost £10 per adult, and £5 for University of Bristol Staff and are free for children under 18, students from all institutions, members of the Friend of the Botanic Garden, University of Bristol alumni and carers of a visitor.

Zog and the Flying Doctors at Bristol Old Vic

Running from April 2 to April 14, join Zog and his flying Doctor crew, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout, as they tend to a sunburnt mermaid, a unicorn with one too many horns and a lion with the flu, and prove to Pearl's uncle that princesses can be doctors too. The Wizard of Oz at The Bristol Hippodrome

Join Dorothy, Toto, and friends on an unforgettable adventure down the yellow brick road to the merry old land of Oz at Bristol Hippodrome from April 2 to April 7. Woodland of Wonder in Broadmead

Woodland of Wonder is a new free community art festival taking place in Sparks Bristol and John Wesley’s New Room from April 3 to 6 and April 10 to 13. The event celebrates the natural world and invites all ages to enjoy exhibitions and allow creativity to flourish with nature-themed craft workshops and photography walks, plus performances from stilt-walking trees. The Zoo That Comes To You at The Wardrobe Theatre

Join Bristol's Scarlet Oak Theatre from April 5 to 7 in a celebration of puppetry, humour and unforgettable characters that invites everyone to join the conversation about animal conservation aimed at ages 5 to 11 and their families. Mini Ravers at The Grand Pier

We're Going on a Bear Hunt at Bristol Zoo Project

Interactive installations based on the award-winning animation "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" will be brought to life at Bristol Zoo from March 23 to September 1 as part of a sensory trail. Roam through swishy swashy grass, conquer thick oozy mud, brave swirling whirling snowstorms, and tiptoe through a cave in search of real bears. Free with admission tickets.

Rude Science at The Redgrave Theatre

Join TV Gastronaut Stefan Gates in a hilarious, high-tech, highly-explosive new family show, packed with science stunts, spectacular experiments and bizarre props with enormous bottoms, fart machines, snot cocktails, vast whoopee cushions, urine-powered fireworks and vomiting mannequins in this celebration of the fascinating bodily science essential to life. Shark in the Park at The Redgrave Theatre

 Nick Sharratt’s ‘Shark in the Park’ Series – Shark in the Park, Shark in the Dark and Shark in the Park on a Windy Day – are coming to live stage this Easter break at The Redgrave Theatre. Easter Trail at Woodhouse Park Activity Centre

Test your detective skills at Woodhouse Park Activity Centre's Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 and 24. Tickets for the trail cost £6 per child and £2 per adult and can be booked here. At the start/finish, there will be stalls selling hot dogs, mini pizzas cooked in the new pizza oven and go-kart racing, all of which can be booked and paid for in advance when booking, and there will be a selection of cakes, snacks and hot or cold drinks, toys and souvenirs for sale at the Centre shop. 

Easter Adventures at Tyntesfield

Running from March 23 to April 14, head off on an Easter adventure at Tyntesfield as you follow the eggs to find each of the ten activity stations and take part in the fun and games. Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and your edible prize and can be bought each day until 4pm.

Bristol Easter Holiday Club

Running from April 9 to 11, the sessions are aimed at ages 4 to 10. Day one is themed egg-sclusively around eggs, day two around spring and day three chemical reactions and children will get to make slime, paint using chemical reactions and even try some tasty treats. Tickets cost £32 per day for the first child or £84 for all 3 days, £28 per day for siblings or £75 for all 3 days and can be booked here.

Easter Holiday Fun Days - Easter Egg Hunt & Pony Fun Day

Arts and Crafts at Marie Curie

Join Marie Curie at Gloucester Road on March 30 from 1pm to 4pm for an afternoon of Easter-themed arts and crafts. All materials are provided and there's a suggested £2 donation. There will also be a spring market at the charity shop on March 23 from 11am to 4pm where local crafters and artists will be selling handcrafted goods. On March 21, members of the public can add a daffodil to an art mural, join in arts and crafts and enjoy tea, coffee and cake as part of "Go Yellow" day to celebrate the Grand Daffodil Appeal.

We Are Warriors at Redcliffe Caves

Explore Redcliffe Caves, home to the We Are Warriors sound and light installation. Acting like a beacon calling people in, We Are Warriors contains thousands of tiny flickering lights and the voices of 130 women and girls from Bristol aged 8 to 80. The installation, running until June 2, was commissioned by Bristol Women’s Voice for their Deeds, not Words programme and plays tribute to anyone who has felt their voice or presence muffled, silenced or suppressed. Little Rippers at The Wave

From March 28, The Wave will be introducing Little Rippers Surf Lessons: a chance for kids as young as 4 to take to the waves with their parents and build water confidence. Each lesson costs £60 for a parent and child ticket and includes all equipment and wetsuits and can be booked here.

Pedal Planes at Aerospace Bristol

On April 2,3 and 4, young pilots under 5 will have the chance to hop on small replica pedal aircrafts, including a Bristol Freighter, Spitfire, Tiger Moth and Hawk Trainer, and let their imaginations take flight.

Prehistoric Sealife at Bristol Aquarium

Princess Smartypants at The Wardrobe Theatre

Chocolate Train at Avon Valley Railway

Celebrate Easter with the newly restored locomotive from Fry's chocolate factory in Keynsham, learn about the special locomotive, its history and the factory and talk to retired employees who worked there. Children will also receive a free Fry's chocolate bar.
