A Cracking Christmas: First look at 'completely unique' new Wallace & Gromit experience and cafe in Bristol 🧀

An exciting new interactive theatre experience has launched in Bristol city centre in the run-up to Christmas.

Wallace & Gromit: A Cracking Christmas Experience has taken over the Friary Building in Quakers Friars.

The 30-minute experience sees visitors help Wallace save Christmas by fixing his latest gadget, the Christmas-O-Matic.

The collaboration, between Brislington-based Bakehouse Factory, Cabot Circus and Aardman Animations, has been a year in the making.

The experience also includes a cafe, run by Bristol Loaf, with a selection of delicious Wallace & Gromit-themed treats available.

Kate Statham, managing director of Bakehouse Factory, told BristolWorld: “It’s brilliantly festive, getting you in the Christmas spirit.

“It's aimed at families, but let’s be honest - a lot of people are going to use this as an excuse to bring out their inner child.

“It’s a bit like being in an escape room meets theatre show, it’s gamified and festive - and why not?”

Wallace & Gromit: A Cracking Christmas Experience runs until December 24, with tickets available at: www.eventbrite.com/e/wallace-gromit-a-cracking-christmas-experience-16-nov-24-dec-tickets-1009184276337?
