There are many places to view fireworks in the city. Whether you want to attend a free fireworks display or a full evening event, there are loads of options for Bristolians who like to welcome the New Year with a firework display!

The most popular view point is on the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The bridge does not host their own firework display but they do offer a place to look over the city during the countdown.

Others may prefer to wrap up warm and take a picnic to the Observatory for a view over the Portway, Clifton and the Harbourside.

Other popular places on New Year’s Eve include Brandon Hill- a popular green area with a view of Clifton. Others may chose Stoke Park, an open space near the M32.
