Bristol’s Ashton Gate will be hosting its first-ever multi-artist concert on June 22

Ashton Gate Presents BS3 will feature 10 artists performing back-to-back across two stages.

The name of the concert, BS3, is derived from the postcode of the iconic stadium and represents their deep-rooted pride in their community and their commitment to deliver an event that reflects the diversity and artistry that the city is famous for.

Doors will open at noon, with last entry at 6pm. It will finish at 11pm.

These are the prohibited items at the concert according to the Ashton Gate website:

- Glass, cans, bottles or thermos flasks of any kind

- Flammable liquids and aerosols (including perfume, hairspray etc)

- Laser pens/pointers

- Laptops, Ipads, professional cameras/video equipment

- Food and drink, unless for medicinal purposes

- Signs, banners, flags, inflatables, selfie sticks

- Air horns, whistles or other noise making devices

- Knives or weapons, fireworks, confetti, glitter bombs or sprays

- Umbrella

Ashton Gate Presents BS3 road closures

- Ashton Road will be closed from 3pm to 2am on June 22.

- Winterstoke Road will be closed from 9pm to midnight on June 22.

- Barons Close and Wedlock Way will be closed from 9pm to midnight.

How to get to Ashton Gate Presents BS3

Where to park for Ashton Gate Presents BS3?

Limited accessible parking for concert is available. To book call 0117 9630 600 or email [email protected].

Taxis and Drop Off/Pick Up

There will be no pre-event designated drop-off point at the stadium and the roads near the stadium will be closed, have temporary waiting restrictions and be very busy.

Post-event, from 10pm Sainsbury’s on Winterstoke Road is the designated pick-up point for private pick-up and pre-booked taxis only.

Shuttle Bus

The event shuttle bus is the easiest and fastest way to get to Ashton Gate Stadium.

Pre-event buses will operate frequently between 11.45am and 5.30pm. Post-event buses will depart after the concert from Winterstoke Road when full and return to collect any remaining passengers.

The shuttle bus start from Portway Park & Ride, Brislington Park & Ride and Temple Meads Railway Station.

There will be no shuttle bus tickets available to buy on the day. Bus tickets can be booked here.

- M2 to Long Ashton Park & Ride (Stop: Ashton Gate).

- 24 Ashton Gate (Stop: Ashton Road)

- X1 Weston-super-Mare (Stop: Blackmoors Lane, Ashton Bridge)

Train

Parson Street is a 15-minute walk to Ashton Gate Stadium. Trains available from this station cover much of Bristol, the South West and Somerset.

There will be an additional service from Parson Street to Weston-super-Mare on June 22 at 11.17pm and calling at Nailsea and Backwell, Yatton, Worle and Weston-super-Mare.

Cycling and E-Scooter

The stadium is a short bike ride away from many areas of Bristol, including:

- 7 minutes away from Parson Street Station, Bedminster

- 8 minutes away from Clifton Village

- 9 minutes away from Bristol Harbourside and the City Centre

- 12 minutes away from Bristol Temple Meads

All event cycle parking is in front of the old Midas building off Winterstoke Road.
