The Lunar New year, a major holiday in China, South Korea, Vietnam and other East Asian countries, is just around the corner.
The first day is marked by the first new moon of this calendar and each year is represented by one of the 12 zodiac animals: the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig.
This year’s Lunar New Year marks the start of the Year of the Snake on January 29 and Bristol is packed with all kind of events to celebrate.
