A major road near Bristol has closed following a four-vehicle collision this morning.

The M5 northbound between J18A (M49) and J17 (Cribbs Causeway) has closed after the collision took place around 6am today (January 15).

Avon and Somerset Police said: “It’s not believed anyone has sustained any serious injury”

The event is expected to clear between 8.45am and 9am and normal traffic conditions are expected to return between 9.45am and 10am.
