Bristol train line closed due to predicted flooding - here's what to expect

A Bristol train line has been closed due to predicted flooding from high tides.

Train services running between Clifton Down and Severn Beach may be cancelled due to the line being blocked by flooding from the high tides.

The disruptions are expected to end by noon today (September 20).

Train tickets will be accepted on First Bus Bristol routes 1, 2, 3 and 4 between Bristol City Centre and Avonmouth via Clifton Down, Sea Mills and Shirehampton and Stagecoach West bus routes 10 and 12 between Severn Beach/St Andrews Road and Bristol Parkway.

There will also be taxis to shuttle between Clifton Down and Severn Beach calling all stations.
