9 key Bristol roads to close in February and March for refurbishments - here's what you need to know
The works form part of a £1 million project to resurface and reconstruct nine roads across the city to improve highway surfaces.
The locations were selected based on city-wide digital surveys, which prioritise roads based on their condition and usage.

Hide Ad- Fifth Way in Avonmouth from February 18 at 7pm to February 20 at 6am
- Long Cross and Kings Weston Lane roundabout in Lawrence Weston from March 21 at 7pm to March 29 at 6am.
- Bridgwater Road and Kings Head Lane roundabout in Bishopsworth from February 24 at 10pm to February 28 at 6am
- Stoke Lane in Stapleton on March 3 from 9.30am to 3pm
- Manor Road and Snowdon Road junction in Fishponds

Hide Ad- Westbury Road and Falcondale Road junction in Westbury-on-Trym from March 7 at 7pm to March 14 at 6am
- Constitution Hill, from Jacob’s Wells Road to Bellevue, in Clifton from March 13 at 7pm to March 15 at 6am
- Merchants Road and part of Cumberland Basin Road in Hotwells from March 14 at 7pm to March 25 at 6am
- Bedminster Road, from Parson Street to Bedminster Down Road, in Bedminster from February 28 at 7pm to March 7 at 6am

Hide AdWhere possible, works will take place overnight to minimise disruption, and diversion routes will in place.
Councillor Ed Plowden, Chair of the Transport and Connectivity Committee said: “We use the latest technology, alongside walked inspections and reports from the public, to monitor the condition of our roads to plan in our resurfacing works.
“I am really pleased we’re investing in these high use areas, which should improve the overall driving and cycling experience and make sure our infrastructure can support the increasing demands of our growing city.”
